Bucket Hat Kit

Sew your own reversible bucket hat! Each kit is made-to-order and will come with individualized instruction booklets and materials. 

Included:

• Cotton twill fabric pieces, with markings telling you exactly where to cut, align, and sew. 
• 4 spools of matching thread (for machine sewing)
• 1 spool of contrast thread (for basting)
• 2 hand-sewing needles (for basting and final ladder stitch)
• Machine sewing needle 
• Needle threader
• Fabric scissors (to cut pieces out)
• Fabric clippers (to add relief-cuts to curved seams)
• Seam ripper (to remove basting stitches and undo mistakes)
• Golf pencil (to pre-trace sewing path)
• Storage tin 
• Measuring tape (for future kits!)
• QR code to Instagram story style instructions

Sizing

Bucket hats are custom made based on the head circumference around the largest part of the head.

We offer standard sizes, but you may email contact@novoloom.com with your order number and more precise head measurement (e.g. 22.5 inches) within 24 hours of placing your order if you fall somewhere in between standard sizes.

We automatically add ease to your bucket hat pattern, so please send your exact head measurement. (I.e. do not add an inch or two of ease to your head measurement, because we will do this for you when preparing your order). 

Customizations

We are now accepting a limited number of design customization requests per month! If you are interested in placing a custom order, please select "Custom" on the "Design Combo" menu. After placing your order, please email contact@novoloom.com with the subject line "Bucket Hat Customizations" and a description of how you'd like to change an existing design. Your order will only be placed in the production queue once this email has been sent, and you have approved of the changes. 

Recombining presets

We allow re-combining designs from different presets. (e.g. Polar Vortex + Rose Jam). Each design that you specify will be printed on 1 of the 2 total sides of your reversible bucket hat.

Replacing colors and images

If you'd like to change a color, email us with a list of hex codes and which original color you'd like each hex code to replace. If you'd like to replace an image, please email us a replacement image. (Please limit to .png, .svg, or .jpg).

Other customizations

We accept other customization requests, but will take longer to accommodate them depending on complexity. We do not recommend requesting more complex customization requests if you are on a deadline. If you'd like to gift someone a custom Novoloom kit, we recommend getting them a gift card so that they can customize it on their own timeline.
